"How Honest Are We?" is one of many "stunt" articles I've produced or helped to produce. Another was "Highway Robbery," which sent a car with a loose sparkplug wire to repair shops around the country. Still another was "Drilling for Gold," which an investigative reporter in dentist chairs coast to coast. Although expensive to research, such articles pay off handsomely in publicity. This one got a lot of newspaper ink and talk-show exposure.
